Beyond Occult

How does an old fashioned Pagan stand against Imperialism?  The answer is: he doesn't, pure and simple.  Let me explain.

As a natural good old fashioned polytheist, I cannot understand anything as outside the Pantheon of the Gods.
If there came a time when Polytheism itself was challenged, I can only assume that one of the Gods is getting out of control.  I kind of think the only God who could pass for an atheist (or monotheist snob) would be CHAOS (Space), who happens to be a TITAN.
There is no real anti Pagan "Empire."  All those Romans and Brits and French and Spanish, with all their anti Pagan fury and bombast.... hah, they were worshiping Chaos, and they didn't even know it.  Or something like that.
Do what you will, live as you will, feel as you will.... then ask yourself: what is your default religion?  What are you worshiping, even in non-worship?
Ask yourself, seriously, what people are worshiping when they go to Starbucks and act smug with their credit cards and casual flip flops...
I think it's CHAOS.  It could be something else, but whatever it is it is a God.
In Ancient Greek, Chaos did not mean "disorder," but rather something more like emptiness or void.
I take it we know enough about the void or emptiness of Bourgeois suburban conventionalism....
Why not move on and learn about the other Gods?
We are human, which is enough qualification to know just about anything there is to know...
Live a full life!
Don't be cruel, don't be revengeful or vindictive.... Just go out and live!
Don't be afraid to admire things, land, people, animals....
Don't be afraid to be drawn to things...
As you are drawn to anything, maybe wonder to yourself, what God is this?
Even if you don't know, it is probably something other than the VOID, and that is a GOOD thing.
Instead of going against the Empire, like some dorky Star Wars hero, just broaden your life to include more than the Imperialistic void.
Ask a philosophy professor to confirm that even Hegel, one of my least favorite philosophers, would agree.
To hell with the word Phenomenology....
Just live.
No matter how many times, no matter how many ways
we hear our lives in capsule form rendered
our lives are not capsules.
There is more than space, and we are indeed full.
Fall in love, make love, have any full experience,
even if it's just eating a hotdog at a baseball game (seriously),
and you will KNOW life is full.
I'm sure there is nothing more to know.
So, go out and live.
