Beyond Occult
The so-called "occult" is not occult at all. The obviousness of the living soul and magic of animals, people, lakes, oceans, the sky, and everything else is so clear that only a curse or mental game could make us think twice. Okay, this has clearly been taking place, but the magical amazing living reality of human soul-life, well this is what's obvious. And if anything is "occult," then it is the head game that coerces children and adults into the godless prosaic mindset. If you test "reality" through conventional orthodoxies, and if you are not comfortable with the self evidence of the living soul of the land, water, the sky, people and animals, then don't bother reading anything here. You're either not ready, or maybe you never will be, and of course that is sad, but it's also real.
Who am I?
To be honest, I am really nobody. My mom and dad were fairly normal people who taught me fairly normal things. I was never poor, but I don't come from money or any especially "good" family. I did do fairly well in school, and eventually became "educated," with a college degree in Mathematics, then a Masters in Finance, and eventually a J.D. (law degree) with honors from a more or less good school. I am fluent in two languages, and while I do have a better than average sense of foreign cultures (even several years' experience living abroad), I am still very much an American.
Yet... something about me (and I think something about certain other people) has kept me more or less separate from society and the "mainstream," even to the point that I can't stand how honest Pagan realism has been relegated to "Occult" status.
That, I will not stand for.

WHAT I DO STAND FOR:
The good old natural Pagan animist / polytheist reality, whether it be in the form of what the Native Americans practiced, or in the form of the Ancient Greeks or Egyptians, or the Druids, or in the lost forms of the countless Pagan cultures lost to the brutality and insensitivity of barbaric imperialists in all the world's populated continents... this good old reality, in which people are never taught or pushed to ignore the obvious spirit in animals and other people (and in plants and trees and rocks and mountains and rivers and everything else), this good old reality of gods and demigods and magic and wonder... this good old reality HAS ALWAYS BEEN the one and only self evident human reality. Humans are magical and psychic and connected by soul to everything, right here and now. It's just how we are. We are all taught to think that this reality is the privilege of esoteric masters, and that is complete nonsense. That kind of nonsense actually reinforces the imperialist prosaic notion that ordinary reality is godless and spiritless. Nothing could be further from the truth.

JUST as Imperialist Tyrants from Rome and Britain, and later USA and certain other European countries, would devastate Natural Pagan people in Africa and the Americas (also in Asia and Australia and Polynesia), leaving them to feel as though their living spiritual connection to nature and other people was maybe a lost dream, similarly the "priest" or "guru" now pretends that this good old natural magic connection to the world and cosmos requires special skills or esoteric practice.
Then it only seems natural that, if you want to talk about feeling connected to a dog, or the sun, well then you are in some "alternative," Alice-in-Wonderland rabbit hole, and so you are suddenly in some "Occult" surrealist "dimension."
THAT is the continued pressure against the Pagan in all of us, the continued pressure from the thousands of years of persistent Holocaust against good old ordinary Pagans.
And I, at least, am not going to stand for any more of it.
Neither should you, ESPECIALLY if that good old living spiritual world is fresh in your sense of life.
THAT is realism.
The bourgeois or suburban prosaicism of our Roman and British and French and Spanish (and I'm sure many other) EMPIRES, with all their clinical godless / spiritless empiricism, now that is a dead zone - a thoroughly zombified deadness that merits no special dignity, though it demands all "commonsense" dignity.
The pomp of the pseudo-pious European and matter of fact American accents is nothing but an intimidation game, away from the real common sense, the real reality and realism.
So, if I stand for anything at all, and I mean anything at all, it's to turn everything back right side up, and call a spade a spade, and say NO MORE to prosaic suburban bourgeois "sense." It is very clearly an anti Pagan chill, meant to keep the Pagan in us snuffed, after thousands of years of Holocaust, and we are nothing less than cowards to let this continue.
